On 11th<\/sup> May 2016, NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers Ltd. (NBP) together with Licvem Shipping & Trading ApS (Licvem), a leading logistics operator based in Copenhagen, singed for the establishment of a new company for the ownership and operation of a new joint venture company, Licvem NBP ApS (LBP).  On the 7th<\/sup> June 2016, NBP has completed purchasing 49% of LBP\u2019s share capital.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

NBP and Licvem came to recognise strengths and expertise that each could contribute to mutual business cooperation and have thus decided to jointly develop a business for the carriage of break bulk cargo to\/from ports primarily in Europe and Africa market.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Licvem is a privately owned company that was incorporated in Denmark in April 2011. Licvem is primarily active as a charter operator, specialising in the transport of AN, IMO-1, project and UN cargo in Africa and Middle East. Licvem acts as an operator of MPP vessels (between 2,000 and 20,000 DWT) and charters approximately 45-60 vessels per year.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
