Operations began today at NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers Ltd., the product of the merger of two key wholly owned NYK subsidiary companies \u2014 i.e., NYK-Hinode Line Ltd. (Hinode) and NYK Global Bulk Corporation (NGB).<\/p>\n

Through this merger between NGB, which was one of the world\u2019s largest specialists in Handy bulk carriers, and Hinode, which made use of its advanced maritime know-how in the transport of a variety of bulk cargo, such as plant and heavy equipment, NYK Bulk & Projects Carriers Ltd. will strive to improve efficiencies and service quality and employ the NYK Group\u2019s synergy to grow beyond the bounds of the existing business models.<\/p>\n
