As part of our efforts to support the construction of a new dojo by the Vanuatu Judo Federation, we provided transportation assistance for used judo tatami mats collected in Japan.
The new dojo was constructed with the support of the Embassy of Japan in Vanuatu, in cooperation with the French Embassy.
This initiative was carried out in coordination with our local shipping agent, South Pacific Shipping Vanuatu, following a request from the Federation. A total of 187 tatami mats were transported to Vanuatu. The procurement of the mats was made possible through the support of various organizations, including the All Japan Judo Federation and the NPO JUDOs.
